About Us

A little bit about me
I read somewhere that people’s focus has shifted away from working with their hands and wearing stonewashed dungarees in their spare time to perfecting new skills; like being a film buff or shopping for things on their phone. I wanted to be a Dad who knew how to make stuff, so when my son asked me how it was done, I could say “oh yeah, that’s easy. Here’s how you do it.” So I decided to learn to remake stuff the old fashioned way, with my hands, and write a little blog about it.
